Peshawar (News Report) – In a heartwarming initiative, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) organized Pakistan’s first-ever 3D animated film screening for orphan and underprivileged children from Zamung Kor at Nishtar Hall, under the special directives of KP Minister for Tourism, Culture, Archaeology, and Museums, Fazal Shakoor Khan.
The event, held in collaboration with Third World Studio and Salman Bakers, featured the popular 3D animated film “Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor.” The film screening aimed to provide joy, education, and inspiration for children while highlighting Pakistan’s scenic landscapes and cultural heritage.
Over 400 children attended the exclusive screening and enjoyed a day filled with fun and laughter. Besides the movie, the event featured a magic show, face painting, cartoon character meet-ups, jumping castles, and play zones, making it a truly memorable experience for the kids.
Prominent guests included Director Administration and Finance KPCTA Omer Arshad, Deputy Director Culture Ms. Sanam Basheer, Deputy Director Monitoring & Vigilance Waseem Iqbal, and Third World Studio representatives Waheed and Ruhan Khan.
During his speech, Omer Arshad stated that the main goal of the initiative was to provide recreational and cultural opportunities to orphaned and destitute children, ensuring they feel connected to the province’s beauty and traditions. He added that “Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor” beautifully showcases Pakistan’s wildlife, national animals, and tourism hotspots, along with promoting environmental awareness and humanity.
He further announced that KPCTA plans to organize similar events in the future to promote tourism, culture, and positive social engagement across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
