LOS ANGELES: Football fans, get ready! FIFA has officially announced that ticket sales for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off this month, marking the start of a historic tournament that will feature 48 teams for the first time ever. The global football event will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026, making it the largest World Cup in history.

According to FIFA, ticket prices will start as low as $60 for group-stage matches and soar up to $6,710 for the final match. These prices are dynamic and will fluctuate depending on demand. Fans will have the opportunity to choose from single-match tickets, team-specific packages, and venue-specific passes, ensuring flexibility for every budget and preference.

To gain early access, Visa cardholders can register for a FIFA ID on the official FIFA website, which will allow them to enter a presale draw scheduled for September 10-19, 2025. Winners of the randomized draw can apply to purchase tickets starting October 1, 2025.

Each person will be able to purchase a maximum of four tickets per match and 40 tickets per tournament. Additional ticket sales phases will roll out in the coming months, with:

  • Phase 2 registration from October 27-31, 2025 for mid-November to early December sales.
  • Phase 3 beginning shortly after the tournament draw on December 5, 2025 in Washington.

Fans will also have access to special supporter tickets to sit with their team’s fans, conditional tickets for knockout rounds, and an official resale platform for verified ticket exchanges.

With FIFA promising an unforgettable experience, this is your chance to secure seats for what is expected to be the most attended and exciting World Cup ever.
