Islamabad – Preparations for Pakistan’s Independence Day 2025 and the historic Marka-e-Haq celebrations are in full swing nationwide. On August 14, the Pakistan Armed Forces will open the Shakarparian Parade Ground to the public at 10 a.m. for an exclusive exhibition of military might.
The display will feature state-of-the-art weapons, fighter jets, tanks, rocket launchers, radars, and other equipment that played a key role during Marka-e-Haq. Visitors will get an up-close look at armored personnel carriers, combat vehicles, and advanced defence systems.
In addition to the static displays, the Pakistan Air Force will thrill spectators with a flypast and para-jumping demonstration. Cultural programs, patriotic military band performances, and stalls will add to the festive atmosphere.
The aim is to give every citizen a chance to celebrate Independence Day in a grand and memorable way, while paying tribute to the courage and capabilities of Pakistan’s defenders.
